Samsung Galaxy S23, All You Need To Know
Everything you need to know on Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup
We wanted to share everything you should know about the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup. The first thing we want to talk about is the color and how it felt in hand. All the devices, from the Galaxy S23 to the S23 Plus to the Ultra, have the classic premium feel that the Galaxy lineup is known for. The S23 Ultra is the largest device with a 6.8-inch display, followed by the S23 Plus with a 6.6-inch display, and the S23 is the smallest with a 6.1-inch display.
One thing we noticed about the displays is that they've changed just a little bit. The S23 Ultra has a newly shaped curvature on the edge, creating a larger flat surface area. On the other hand, the S23 and the S23 Plus have flat displays. we personally like the flat displays, but we also love the curvature as it adds a unique touch.
Another design change we noticed is that the previous models had a cut-out around the camera, which has now been removed. This makes the cameras look cleaner, but we did like the touch of the border as it gave depth of color. The color options this year are black, cream, green, and lavender. My personal favorites are cream and green, as the green is a unique color that stands out. It's worth mentioning that the color options are the same across all devices.
Now, let's talk about one of our favorite features of Samsung Galaxy devices - the camera. There have been some improvements, including the option to take 200 megapixel photos. The autofocus has also been improved, and 8K video has a wider angle, going from 67 degrees to 80 degrees at 30 frames per second. The selfie camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels, compared to 10 megapixels on the previous models, meaning better quality photos with more clarity. If you pair your phone with the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, you can capture 360 audio. Additionally, there are more creative controls, including the Expert Raw app and the option to capture 50 megapixel Raw photos.
The new Samsung S23 lineup is highly anticipated and there are many features and improvements that are expected. Night portraits are said to be better, the video stabilization is improved, and there are many other great features to discover.
The S23 lineup is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 gen mobile 2 platform, which will result in faster performance for tasks and intense gaming sessions. The new lineup also has modes and routines, which allows for customizing settings for different parts of one's life. There is also a new feature called Bixby text call which allows for responding to incoming calls through text.
When it comes to battery life, the s23 ultra has a 5000 milliamp battery, the S23 plus has a 4700 milliamp battery, and the S23 has a 3900 milliamp battery. The storage options for memory and storage are also good entry points, with the base model having 128 gigabytes.
In addition to the S23 lineup, Samsung also announced their new Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, which is their newest premium PC. They also announced the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, which is a more versatile option with a two-in-one convertible form factor and S Pen capabilities. The Galaxy book 3 Pro is being hailed as the thinnest clamshell device in its class.
The pricing for the S23 lineup is yet to be determined, but the lineup is looking good and people are looking forward to having hands-on time with the devices. It will be interesting to see who these devices are best suited for.
