iPad 10 Gen 9 in 2023, Still Worth Buying?
We will be taking a look at the iPad 10 9th generation, and see how it holds up in 2023
In this review, we will be taking a look at the iPad 10.9th generation, also known as the iPad 10.2 inch, and see how it holds up in 2023. Overall, we think that Apple did an excellent job with this device. It was almost one of the most perfect iPads that Apple has ever made, and even now, we still see so many deals on this iPad. If you want to pick up this iPad, we recommend it, and you can help support the channel at the same time.
The iPad is not supposed to be the most expensive iPad or an iPad Pro competitor. Instead, it's one of those devices that you can buy, and it's going to be a little bit cheaper than the iPad Pros and other iPads. The front of this iPad still looks fairly good. You are getting a 10.2 inch retina IPS LCD panel. It's a pretty good panel overall, and you still get Touch ID on the front, which is nice. The lightning port is at the bottom, which is perfectly fine, but there is no USB-C. On top of that, you are still getting the headphone jack in this iPad, which is really nice.
On the back, you have the standard aluminum back, and it looks fine. You have a single camera setup on the top left corner, and overall, when we look at this iPad on the outside, it still looks very good and feels very premium. If you had a more expensive iPad, it would feel and look better, but for its price tag, we think that the pricing of this iPad was very good.
When looking at the camera on this iPad, we noticed that it has an 8-megapixel standard camera on the back and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the front. At first, this camera layout seemed a little strange to us, but we soon realized that it made sense. One of the benefits of having the ultra-wide camera on the front is that it allows users to do 1080p video on both the front and back cameras. The new ultralight camera with the tracking feature is another cool addition to this iPad. Although the camera quality is not amazing, it is still good for basic tasks and FaceTime calls.
Moving on to the software and longevity portion of this iPad, we believe that this device is still a good choice, despite not having the latest iPad’s software features. In terms of longevity, this iPad is comparable to the iPhone 11, which has many years of software support left. Although this iPad has three gigabytes of RAM, which is less than the four gigabytes of RAM in the iPhone 11, it is still a fast device. It can handle basic gaming and light applications like note-taking with the Apple pencil.
While this iPad cannot compete with the latest and most expensive iPads in terms of performance, it is still a great device for the price. It is not going to be lasting forever, but it has a long future ahead of it. The camera layout of this iPad is good, and the ultra-wide camera on the front is a useful feature. We commend Apple for bringing the new ultralight camera with the tracking feature to this iPad. Although the camera quality is not great, it is good for basic tasks and FaceTime calls. Overall, we recommend this iPad for those who want a good device at a reasonable price.
In conclusion, we believe that this iPad is a great option if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to the iPad Pro. It's not the most expensive iPad, but it does a fantastic job, especially for its price. We recommend it for anyone who wants to have an iPad that works well and is affordable.
