Hogwarts Legacy is a single player action RPG set to release on February 10th for PS5, PC and Xbox series X with a 72 hour early access starting February 7th for the deluxe and collector's edition. PS4 and Xbox One will be available on April 4th and Nintendo Switch on July 25th.

It is important to note that this is not a Hogwarts or Harry Potter simulator, but an open world action RPG. There will not be any multiplayer or co-op modes in the game. According to a recent leak, the main story will take approximately 35 to 45 hours to complete, but with over 100 additional side quests, the estimated completion time with full exploration is 100 hours.

Xbox series X players can preload the game, while PlayStation 5 players can preload the deluxe edition on February 5th and the standard edition on February 8th. Unfortunately, PC players will not be able to preload the game. Warner Bros has confirmed that there will not be any microtransactions in the game.

Players will have the ability to adjust the look of their clothes through a transmoglex system, allowing them to keep the appearance of their favorite gear while also retaining their stats. There will be three companions in the game, Unai a Gryffindor, Poppy Sweding a Hufflepuff, and Sebastian Cello a Slytherin. It is not yet confirmed if there will be a Ravenclaw companion, but players will be able to create multiple characters with four separate character slots.

Quidditch will not be included in the game, but it is possible to expect it in a future DLC. Players will be able to freely choose their wand and house during ceremonies and then be bound to their choice. Ray tracing will be available for next-gen consoles and PCs that meet the system requirements, but it will greatly impact performance on next-gen consoles and require high-end hardware for 60fps with 4k and Ray tracing enabled on PC.

The developers have shown that they care about the game and plan to continue adding new content in DLCs. The release of Hogwarts Legacy is eagerly anticipated and the next video upload will likely be after its release.
