Mobile Legends New Starlight System, Worth to Buy?

The new Starlight subscription has finally arrived on Mobile Legends, and there's a lot of confusion going on. There are two types of subscriptions: normal and plus. The normal subscription costs 300 diamonds, while the plus subscription costs 750 diamonds. Despite the page looking like you can only get rewards from the plus version, you can actually get all the rewards from the normal version as well. It's just easier to complete the tasks with the plus version because of the additional 10 Starlight points and 15 instant levels.

If you buy the normal version, you can still upgrade to plus later by paying 450 diamonds. The old Starlight currencies have been converted to the new Starlight fragments. You can check your inbox to see how much you received. For example, the author of the video received more than 8,000 fragments. The old germ was converted to 500 fragments each, while a coin was converted to 200 fragments. These new Starlight fragments can be used in the shop section.

There's a new rule in the Starlight shop section: you can't buy anything with your fragments unless you have a Starlight subscription. If you press the lock, you will be directed to the subscription section to unlock it. It doesn't matter if it's the normal or plus version, both can unlock the shop. The author bought the normal version and was able to access the shop without any locks.

The confusion might come from the "Upgrade Membership" button, which is still there even after the author bought the normal version. To prove that the shop can be used, the author bought a Kagura skin for 5,000 fragments. In the shop, you can also buy old Charlotte skins for 3,000 fragments and there's also a chest that contains all the old skins. The chest will randomly give you a skin, prioritizing the unowned ones.

Starlight gift cards are back and you can give the plus version just like before. There's a limit of three cards that you can give. To send a request to your friends, go to the shop gifting request item and search for the Starlight card. Type your friend's name and hope they give you one.

The new Starlight has new rewards. Previously, the painted skin was available at level 2, the emote at level 40, and the secret statue at level 60. Now, the secret statue is at level 30, the painted skin at level 40, and the trail effect at level 60. The author is glad that the Starlight emotes have been removed, as they weren't really used anyway. However, the trade effect can only be used on Saber's Starlight skin, as it's exclusive. The new painted skin is now for the current Starlight skin, unlike before where it was given to a completely random hero.

The new Starlight allows you to gain levels for the next month. For example, if you reach level 60, you'll get 6 levels once you start the next month's subscription. The tasks are still the same as before, making it easy to reach the maximum level. Saber's Iron Hound is the starter skin for February. The skin is pretty cool, and the effects are definitely worth the price.

The new Starlight is definitely worth buying for only 300 diamonds. They got all the skins and there's more to come after they level up their subscription. If you haven't bought a Starlight yet, now might be a good time as the skin is good and so are the shop items. The previous subscription was around 400 to 500 diamonds, so the new one is a good deal.
