Why My IPhone Slowing Down?

You’ve maybe heard old iPhone has been slowing down, specifically iPhone 6s, iPhone 6, maybe even 5s users and you might be wondering has Apple been slowing down your iPhone. Well, recently they're in the news again and it's been confirmed that older iPhones like the SE the 6 the 6s have been intentionally being slowed down by Apple themselves. And we quote them saying the statement they deliver to the public a few days ago:

“Our goal is to deliver the best experience for our customers which includes overall performance and prolonging the life of their devices. Lithium-ion batteries become less capable of supplying peak current demands when in cold conditions, have a low battery charge or as they age over time which can result in device unexpectedly shutting down to protect its electronic components”.

“ Last year we released a feature for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and SE to smooth out instantaneous peaks only when needed to prevent the device from unexpectedly shutting down during these conditions. We've now extended that feature to the iPhone 7 with iOS 11.2 and plan to add support for other products in the future”.

So there's a big thing going on in the news right now about how Apple is basically intentionally slowing down iPhones but really all they're really doing is they're slowing down the phone when it does get in cold conditions. Now the reason that this is a big, you know thing in the news right now is because people don't are upset that Apple didn't tell them that their phone is doing this, not that they're actually doing this. Because there was unexpected shutdown issues with the 6s so we think why they're doing this basically is to go ahead and help your phone from just doing these unexpected shutdowns when it does get in these conditions.

Now this is kind of strange though because you know they could have easily just said this in an update. Like, we're gonna be shutting down phones if they get to you cold or something like that. These are extreme conditions we've never actually seen this happen to any of iPhone but just the fact that we know that Apple is doing these practices without telling us is definitely making us lose a little trust on them. So that's basically why they're doing this is just basically to protect your battery.

So how do you fix this issue, how do you get your phone running at peak speeds again?. Well, if you have an older iPhone it's likely that your battery has degraded and Apple has implemented this practice onto your phone. So you would go ahead and replace it maybe get a third party battery or you know what they want you to do is go to the Apple Store and get yourself a $79 battery.

We think the best way that you can prevent this from happening is to just maintain your battery life and that means doing your cycles every month at least once a month. And just not you know running it from 100 to 0 every time, so your battery degrades and Apple forced to slow your phone down.

Saying that Apple slows their phones down and the big thing is that everybody thinks they're right now because they always been saying for the longest time that Apple hasn’t been slowing down phones. But the fact is is this is actually not that old, so people been saying that forever but Apple just started to do this since like iOS 10.2. They've been slowing on the phone for a battery life degradation and stuff like that. So this is not cool just simply because we want to be able to control if our phone's going fast or slow. We don't want Apple controlling if it's going fast or slow. What do you guys think about this, drop your comments down below and as always thanks for reading.
